So this blog has been untouched for 2 years, well we haven't played warhammer for that long as well. BUT just recently we have started a Dungeons and Dragons campaign (5 of us plus the DM), and with that we have got some custom models made for our characters. So the next blog posts in this blog will be D&D related.
My character is a level 3 Wizard and so far has been knocked unconscious once yay! there's a website called
Hero forge that allows you to fully customize your character and 3D print it in a variety of materials! so here is Rene:
I chose the cheapest printing option ($19.99) as the write up said that the new grey 3D printed models were better for painting, and after seeing my brothers $29.99 black printed model I wanted it to be easy to paint (I haven't tried painting on the black plastic yet but by looking at it I can tell the paint is going repel on it). Also his model the 3D printing lines are more obvious, whereas this grey plastic I can only see a few tiny lines. Yes the detail is not that great, a lot of the edges are 'softer' but I want an easier time painting :p
